The ongoing Jolie-Pitt family drama continues to unfold. As tensions rise with several of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children dropping their father’s surname, a recent near-fatal accident has added to their emotional turmoil.
Pax Jolie, the couple’s son, was hospitalized with head injuries after a reported accident involving his e-bike and a car, which occurred while he was not wearing a helmet. Despite this distressing situation, Pitt reportedly has no direct contact with his son, with sources suggesting that Jolie has “completely shut him out” due to Pitt’s alleged “history of physical abuse,” which she believes undermines his role as a father.
An insider, believed to be close to Brad Pitt, has further criticized Jolie, alleging that she has “poisoned the children against him.”
“She’s the one who’s there day to day”
A source told InTouchWeekly, “From Brad’s perspective it’s absurd for her to try to put any sort of blame on him. She’s the one who’s there day to day, he’s barely around because she’s totally shut him out and poisoned the kids against him.”
The insider also mentioned Pitt “would love to be there more for Pax, and all the kids, but she’s managed to turn them against him so much he’s practically out of the picture,” adding, “So to suddenly try to scapegoat him when something goes wrong is completely unfair.”
The person commenting on the issue also described Pax’s accident as an “accident” vis a vis how the family was grappling with while in “a state of shock.”
Finding some common ground, the source said, “It’s such a shame that even now these two are finding a way to use this against each other. Anything that goes wrong, they automatically blame each other.”

Is Brad Pitt not in touch with his kids?
As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue their legal battle over their French winery, Pitt has had minimal contact with his older children. Although he retains legal rights to spend time with the younger ones, his involvement with them has been “limited in recent months” due to his filming commitments.
Meanwhile, Pitt has reunited with George Clooney for one of the most anticipated films of the year, Wolfs. Even before its release, a sequel is already in development.
A recent TMZ report revealed that, despite not having been in touch with his son for years, the 60-year-old actor is “grateful” for updates about him from “concerned individuals around the family.”
Pax’s distressing accident occurred in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles on July 29. Witness Lola Cavalli told ET that she attempted to control the bleeding by applying pressure to his head. Although she did not see “a lot of blood” at the time, she observed that “his mouth was filled with blood” when he tried to speak.
