Ahead of his highly anticipated fight against boxing legend Mike Tyson, Jake Paul unveiled his extravagant walkout outfit, making waves with its luxurious design. The YouTuber-turned-boxer took to Instagram to showcase his diamond-encrusted boxing shoes and shorts, designed to turn heads.
Paul shared a video featuring his lavish gear, which includes 380 carats of real diamonds. The outfit also features a custom-painted design by renowned street artist Alec Monopoly, famous for incorporating the character ‘Mr. Monopoly’ into his art. “Most expensive boxing outfit of all time. 380 carats. Painted by @alecmonopoly,” Paul captioned the post.
A $1 Million Outfit
Jake Paul’s diamond-encrusted boxing shoes come with an eye-watering price tag of $1 million, while the shorts feature exclusive artwork from Alec Monopoly, turning Paul into a walking work of art inside the ring. During a podcast appearance earlier in the week, Paul revealed the outfit’s opulence, calling it “the most expensive fight outfit in the history of boxing.” He explained, “It’s $1 million. It has cost a pretty penny and it is very shiny, that’s the hints I will give.”
A Tease of the Walkout
Paul also teased an extravagant entrance for the fight. “For the walkout I am going to be driving in a certain vehicle to the ring, which is going to be pretty cool,” he said, hinting at the surprise. He also mentioned the song chosen for his entrance, which would be related to Mike Tyson’s career and a film he starred in.
Jake Paul’s Diamond-Studded Ear Cover
In addition to his outfit, Paul revealed another piece of luxury gear—diamond-studded ear covers worth $100,000. The custom piece was designed to protect him during the fight, in light of Tyson’s infamous ear-biting incident with Evander Holyfield in 1997. “I’m not getting my —- bit off on Friday night. So I got my diamond, spiked, ear covers right there,” Paul joked.
Mike Tyson’s Sentimental Gear
In contrast to Paul’s flashy attire, Mike Tyson will opt for a more sentimental approach. The boxing legend will wear his signature black trunks with a tribute to his late daughter, Exodus Sierra Tyson. Her name will be stitched in white lettering on one leg, adding a personal touch to his gear.
Big Paydays Await Both Fighters
The fight promises massive paydays for both fighters, with Jake Paul reportedly earning $40 million and Mike Tyson pocketing $20 million.
