Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most popular young stars in the Hindi film industry. The actress has carved a niche for herself with her performances in films such as ‘Gunjan Saxena’ and ‘Good Luck Jerry’. Janhvi recently embarked on a pilgrimage to the Tirupati Balaji temple with her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya and close friend Orry. Orry documented their travels and posted a video on social media.
In one of the reels, the three friends are seen climbing the temple’s stairs on their knees. While sharing the post, Orry spoke about the star’s ‘’mystical’ ways of celebrating her birthday.
“In this episode, Jahnvi Kapoor invites her besties Shikhar Pahariya and Orry aka Orhan Awatramani to celebrate her 27th birthday. But instead of a bash with cake and balloons, Jahnvi has something more mystical and special in mind. Jahnvi wants Shikhar and Orry to join her on a deeply personal spiritual odyssey through the misty forests of Tirumala in search of enlightenment at the Tirupati Balaji Temple,” read the post
He also joked about Janhvi being a ‘cardio queen’.
“Sounds simple? Not quite. The temple floats at a staggering 3000 feet above the valley and is only accessible by foot. With Jahnvi, a seasoned pilgrim (and cardio queen) leading the way, the trio races the sunset to the peaks, wafting their way through the clouds to arrive at their destination hours later,” he wrote
The Tirupati Balaji temple holds special significance for Janhvi as the late Sridevi frequently visited it. The Roohi actress herself is no stranger to the temple as this was her 50th visit to it.
Janhvi , meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. She was last seen in the direct-to-OTT film ‘Bawaal’, which received mixed reviews from fans and critics alike. The Nitesh Tiwari-directed film marked her first collaboration with Varun Dhawan. She is working on Jr NTR’s ‘Devara’, her maiden Telugu film. Janhvi also has the sports drama ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’ and Ram Charan’s ‘RC 16’ in her kitty.
