Kajol and Ajay got married in 1999 after first meeting on the set of the 1995 film ‘Hulchul’. Since then, they have appeared together in several movies such as ‘Gundaraj’, ‘Ishq’, ‘Dil Kya Kare’, ‘Raju Chacha’, ‘Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha’, and ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, among others.
Ajay is teaming up with director Neeraj Pandey for a unique musical love story filled with romantic drama ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ opposite Tabu. It is spanning across 20 years from 2002-2023 and will be a multi-language release. Saiee Manjrekar and Shantanu Maheshwari are also featured in significant roles in the movie. The film is scheduled for release in theaters on April 26, 2024.
He is also set to appear in producer Boney Kapoor’s period drama film ‘Maidaan’, the psychological thriller ‘Shaitaan’ alongside R Madhavan, and Rohit Shetty’s upcoming action thriller ‘Singham Again’. ‘Singham Again’ also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Tiger Shroff in prominent roles.
Meanwhile, Kajol has recently concluded filming for her upcoming movie ‘Do Patti’, which also features Kriti Sanon. This film marks the second collaboration between Kriti and Kajol after ‘Dilwale’.
