Kanguva Trailer: Suriya Is Here To Give You Goosebumps As He Takes On A Menace-Looking Bobby Deol

The trailer for Siva’s highly anticipated action-drama Kanguva, featuring Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani, was unveiled on Monday. While the trailer offers a glimpse into the film’s theme, it remains vague about much of the plot.

Additionally, the trailer does not reveal another aspect of the story that was previously hinted at. One of the posters released by Suriya showcased him in two distinct roles—a tribal warrior and a modern figure. However, neither the trailer nor any promotional material so far has provided a preview of this element.

Suriya shared the trailer of Kanguva on X (formerly Twitter) wishing the director on his birthday and writing, “Incredibly proud of all that we have done together as a team, thank you, have a very very happy birthday dearest Siva!! Here’s our #Kanguvatrailer for you dear all!”

The 2-minute-37-seconds long trailer begins with an old woman saying, “Many mysteries lie scattered in this island we live in. But the most baffling of them all…” she peters off.

The trailer reveals that both Suriya and Bobby Deol’s characters are leaders of their respective tribes and formidable warriors, suggesting that a confrontation between them is likely in the film. With “Kanguva” meaning fire in Tamil, the trailer hints at a storyline that promises to embody the fiery essence of its title.

About Kanguva

Produced by Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green and V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati of UV Creations, Kanguva marks the Tamil debut of both Disha Patani and Bobby Deol. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the film’s soundtrack.

Set to release in theaters on October 10, the film also features Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natty Natarajan, KS Ravikumar, and Kovai Sarala in key roles. It is expected to be dubbed into several languages and is made on an extensive budget.

Directed by Siruthai Siva, Kanguva pits Suriya’s character against Bobby Deol’s Udhiran, with both actors taking on intense roles that promise a visually gripping experience. Although Disha Patani is featured prominently, the trailer does not show her in a significant scene.
