A ‘Games of Thrones’ Reunion: Kit Harington and Sophie Turner are all set to star in a new horror drama

Actors Kit Harrington and Sophie Turner became widely appreciated for their roles as ‘Jon Snow’ and ‘Sansa Stark’ on the famous television series ‘Game of Thrones’. The pair will be seen working together again in a Gothic horror film, ‘The Dreadful’. It is set in the time of Wars of Roses. The film will follow the story of Anne (Sophie Turner) who is a lone outsider residing with her mother-in-law on the outskirts of society. A turn of events takes place when a man from the past (Kit Harrington) renters their life.

Natasha Kermani, formerly recognized for movies like Lucky (2020) and Imitation Girl (2017) will write and direct the movie. Producers on the film include Redwire Pictures/Tunnel’s Luke Daniels, Storyboard Media’s Patrick Muldoon, Patrick Hibler, Greg Lauritano, Lucas Jarach as well as Sophie Turner.

Sophie shared the exciting news with a post on Instagram captioned ,”I mean we couldn’t NOT hang out again ya know #thedreadful.” “The King And Queen of the North!,” a fan commented.

Turner was recently seen in the HBO miniseries ‘The Staircase’ and the film ‘Do Revenge’. Her next project is the British crime series Joan where she will be portraying a  real-life criminal “Godmother” Joan Hannington. Harington’s latest projects include the movies ‘Blood for Dust’ and ‘Baby Ruby’ as well as the TV series Extrapolations and Lot No. 249. Kit also depicted the role of Dane Whitman, the Marvel Comics character who eventually becomes the Black Knight, in Eternals. It is very likely that he’ll be seen in more Marvel Cinematic Universe projects in the future.
