Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Actor Vikas Sethi Dies At 48 Due To Cardiac Arrest

Actor Vikas Sethi, a prominent figure in the 2000s known for his roles in popular TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahiin To Hoga, and Kasautii Zindagi Kay, tragically passed away on Sunday, September 8, at the age of 48.

Reports suggest he suffered a fatal heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Jhanvi Sethi, and their twin sons. According to Telly Chakkar, Vikas experienced a massive cardiac arrest before his death.

In 2021, Vikas underwent surgery on his leg, sharing updates on Instagram, where he mentioned that despite the doctor recommending one and a half months of bed rest, he was determined to recover quickly. He expressed his enthusiasm to go out with friends and create more content for his followers.

Vikas was committed to fitness and frequently posted videos on Instagram documenting his journey to regain physical strength and health.

As of now, his family has not issued an official statement regarding his passing. His final Instagram post was in May 2023, and he had been inactive on social media in the months leading up to his death.

In addition to his TV roles, Vikas participated in Nach Baliye season 3 alongside his then-wife, Amita. He also appeared in the iconic film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, playing Kareena Kapoor’s friend Robbie, and starred in the 2001 movie Deewaanapan, featuring Arjun Rampal and Dia Mirza.

In 2019, Vikas made a notable appearance in the Telugu hit ISmart Shankar.
