Maidaan vs Bade Miyan Chote Miyan:  Ajay Devgn Starrer To Clash With Akshay Kumar’s Action Flick

Gear up for an exhilarating experience as Ajay Devgn’s highly awaited sports drama, “Maidaan,” has officially secured its release date for Eid 2024. Produced by Boney Kapoor and helmed by Amit Sharma of “Badhaai Ho” fame, the movie faced a four-year struggle to secure a theatrical release.

Ajay Devgn himself shared the news of “Maidaan’s” release date through a poster on his official Instagram handle. The poster features him in a grey suit, embracing his football team in an emotional moment, surrounded by a massive crowd waving Indian flags and cheering for them.

The release date of “Maidaan” is prominently displayed on the poster. Ajay Devgn’s caption reads, “Witness an extraordinary story of a man, a team, a nation, and the unwavering belief that left an indelible mark on the history of Football #MaidaanTrailerKicksOff7thMarch #MaidaanOnEid #ThisEidApril2024.”

Ajay starter “Maidaan” is set to clash with “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” starring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff in the lead along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F. The latter is written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Considered one of Ajay Devgn’s most ambitious projects, “Maidaan” tells the inspiring tale of an unsung hero, Syed Abdul Rahim, who made significant contributions to Indian football during his tenure as coach and manager from 1950 to 1963.

With a screenplay by Saiwyn Quadras and dialogues by Ritesh Shah, the film also features Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh in pivotal roles. Presented by Zee Studios, the production boasts a stellar team of producers, including Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta.
