Mammootty’s ‘Bramayugam’, which hit screens on February 15, has emerged as a massive hit at the box office. The film, shot on a budget of Rs 27.7 crore, collected Rs 55.5 crore globally during its theatrical run and received rave reviews from fans. The dark-fantasy horror drama is now set to premiere on OTT.
On Wednesday, March 6, SonyLiv announced that ‘Bramayugam’ will stream on the platform from March 15. It also shared the news from a haunting teaser for the movie.

‘Bramayugam’ is directed by Rahul Sadasivan, best known for his work on ‘Bhoothakaalam’, and centres on the events that unfold when a folk singer learns about an ancient custom that changes his destiny. ‘Megastar’ recently said that it features characters rather than ‘heroes’ and ‘villains’.
Besides Mammootty, the film features Arjun Ashokan and Sidharth Bharathan. Chakravarthy, Ramachandra, S Sashikanth have produced the film.
Mammootty, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. The star will soon be in ‘Turbo’ and ‘Bazooka’, which feature him in distinct looks.
