Amazon Prime Video unveiled a vast lineup of more than 60 titles on Tuesday, providing a sneak peek into their upcoming movies and shows. Among the highly anticipated releases, fans got a glimpse of Mirzapur Season 3.
The teaser revealed Ali Fazal climbing stairs with a rod on his shoulders, followed by Pankaj Tripathi in a thoughtful moment near a waterfall, dressed in traditional attire.
It also showcased intense scenes of Ali Fazal shouting during car sequences, while Kaleen Bhaiya, played by Pankaj Tripathi, asked, “Have you forgotten us?” Additionally, the teaser hinted at the return of other cast members such as Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi, and Isha Talwar.
Mirzapur, which debuted in 2018 followed by a second season in 2020, has been eagerly anticipated by fans since the announcement of its third season. It has established itself as a leading contender in the Indian web series realm, captivating viewers with its compelling storyline and outstanding performances. Ali Fazal, who plays Guddu Bhaiya in the series, recently discussed his journey with the character, acknowledging his initial disagreements with the director regarding Guddu’s appearance.
Ali Fazal also disclosed that he refrained from using protein shakes or additives to bulk up for the role, opting instead for a rigorous workout routine and dietary changes. In an interview with Jist, Ali remarked, “I had to almost argue with my director about Guddu not having hair. The most challenging part of my life was getting in shape for Mirzapur. It was physically demanding, and I had to maintain my mental peace throughout the process.”
