Natalie Portman Has Finalized Her Divorce With Husband Benjamin Millepied After 11 Years Of Marriage: Report

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied have divorced after being married for 11 years. As reported by a leading news portal, a spokesperson for Portman confirmed that the Oscar-winning actress filed for divorce from the French choreographer in July, and the divorce was finalized last month in France, where the couple resided with their two children.

Portman and Millepied, who first met on the set of “Black Swan,” got married in California in August 2012 and have a 12-year-old son, Aleph, and a 7-year-old daughter, Amalia.  A source spilled the beans on the divorce saying, “It was initially really tough for her, but her friends rallied around her and helped get her through the worst of it. Natalie is coming out of a really tough and painful year but she’s come out the other side of it stronger and is finding joy in her family, friends and work.”

Although there were indications of trouble in the marriage – Natalie Portman stopped wearing her wedding ring last spring following reports of Benjamin Millepied’s “short-lived” affair – the couple managed to privately address the issues and work towards establishing a “new normal.”

In June 2023, a source informed that Millepied was making efforts to seek forgiveness from Portman and maintain their family, while Portman’s primary focus was safeguarding her children and their privacy.
