Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, who got married on June 9, 2022, recently shut down the divorce rumours by sharing pictures from their family trip. Despite earlier reports suggesting trouble in their relationship, the couple posted a photo on Instagram featuring Nayanthara, Vignesh, and their sons Uyir and Ulgham.
Dressed in matching black outfits, the family appeared happy as they traveled together. Nayanthara captioned the image, “@wikkiofficial Traveling with my boys. After sooo long (red heart emojis).” Vignesh also shared the picture on his Instagram Stories, and the family seemed to be attending the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah.
Speculation arose last week when fans noticed Nayanthara had briefly unfollowed Vignesh on Instagram. However, an insider revealed that the couple is not facing any challenges and is going strong.
The source stated, “Contrary to the reports, the couple is not going through a tough time. Instead, they are going strong…It’s true that Vignesh was removed from her follower list, and the reason behind it is very convoluted…some believe that there was a technical glitch due to which he was removed from her follower list. She followed him back as soon as she got to know about the growing buzz, and connotation around it. They have been together for a while and are really enjoying this phase as a husband and wife as well as parents. That’s one of the reasons they are not taking a lot of projects in hand, and want to be with their kids at the moment.”
Contrary to rumours, the couple is reportedly enjoying their time. They have deliberately taken a step back from work to focus on their family. Nayanthara and Vignesh had a private wedding ceremony in Mahabalipuram, attended by several stars, and later welcomed their sons via surrogacy in October 2022.
