An adorable photo that was altered and shared online shows the late actor Rishi Kapoor with his granddaughter Raha Kapoor. Neetu Kapoor, the late actor’s wife, responded to the endearing photo on Instagram stories. “I wish Rishi ji was with us even today… and with Raha too,” the writer wrote. Rishi is seen smiling and cradling Raha in his arms in the altered photo. Raha was dressed in a printed white dress with a tiara, and Rishi was wearing a blue T-shirt. Soni Razdan, Alia Bhatt’s mother, shared it on her Instagram Stories, saying, “This is such a great edit.” It brings happiness into our hearts. I’m grateful.
2020 saw Rishi Kapoor’s passing. In April 2022, his son Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot with Alia Bhatt. In November 2022, they welcomed Raha into their family. At the 69th Annual Filmfare Awards, Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Actor (Male) for his role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal.” Ranbir thanked veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and his late father in his acceptance speech.
“Every day I think of you, I remember you and everything that I feel for you…the love, the affection I try to channelise it through this part and I hope you are up there in peace and resting,” he said.
Ranbir also gave a cute shout to his daughter Raha, who was born to him and Alia Bhatt in November 2022.
“And last but not least my daughter Raha…naughty….you were born and a week later I started principal shooting for Animal ..and every single day just to come home to you has been the most joyful experience of my life. Mumma and papa are bringing you a bua and a massi (referring to black lady) tonight to play… I can’t wait to experience every adventure with you…I love you naughty.
