Orry responded to Lohiya’s video, citing concerns about the cleanliness of her hands and accusing her of disregarding his manager’s instructions and breaching security protocols. He also suggested that Lohiya was seeking attention by portraying herself as a victim in the situation. Consequently, Orry announced his intention to take legal action against Lohiya for defamation.
The controversy escalated further when Orry addressed the issue during his appearance at the India Today Conclave 2024 in New Delhi on March 16. He described himself as the ‘and friend’ during his session titled ‘The Orry Mystique: The Rulebook for Becoming Viral, Influential, and Stylish,’ introducing a new phrase to his vocabulary.
Orry’s legal threat against Lohiya and their public exchange have sparked a polarized reaction on social media, with supporters and critics weighing in on the matter. Orry’s decision to pursue legal action underscores the seriousness of the dispute and highlights the complexities of interactions in the digital age, where perceptions and interpretations can lead to contentious confrontations.
