Avinash Tiwary, Pratik Gandhi, and Divyenndu have joined the cast of Madgaon Express, the acting debut of actor-turned-director Kunal Kemmu. Supported by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainement, the movie is marketed as a comedy entertainer. On Friday, Kunal and the film’s creators posted the teaser to social media with the caption, “Get ready for #MadgaonExpress, a crazy trip through the multiverse of madness.”
The teaser for the movie suggests that the three actors, who are usually recognized for playing serious roles, will be venturing into comedy. Pratik is presented to us as “the wolf of Dalal Street.” Divyenndu is regarded as “the prince of Mirzapur,” Munna of Mirzapur; Avinash Tiwary is referred to as “the Bambai ka badshah,” the fearless Dara of Bambai Meri Jaan; and Harshad Mehta of Scam 1992. The three actors then appear in the video, offering a glimpse into their eccentric Madgaon Express personas: Pratik plays Pinku, Divyenndu plays Dodo, and Avinash plays Ayush. In important roles, Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye, and Chhaya Kadam are also featured in the movie.
A trip to Goa that completely goes awry for three childhood friends is the subject of Madgaon Express, according to the movie’s synopsis. Excel Entertainment, the production company behind Don, Fukrey, and Rock On, is supporting Kunal’s debut picture. In addition to revealing the cast, the film’s producers have disclosed that the trailer will debut on March 5. “Bachpan ke sapne… lag gaye apne,” is the tagline. Kunal Kemmu is the writer and director of Madgaon Express, which is scheduled to open in theaters on March 22.
