Many details about collaborations are eagerly awaited. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is currently busy shooting for the film Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh. The film is expected to be released in the second half of 2024.
Rajinikanth was last seen in the movie Lal Salaam directed by his daughter Aishwarya. The Tamil action drama, which explores themes of oppression and religious discrimination, received mixed response upon release.
“Lal Salaam” stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, while Rajinikanth plays the role of Moideen Bhai. Before “Lal Salam”, Rajinikanth starred in “Jailer”, which was a success at the global box office.
