Newlyweds Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani recently celebrated their wedding ceremony in Goa on February 21, where they received a special blessing from Ayodhya. Rakul took to Instagram to express her gratitude, sharing a heartfelt message, “Blessed beyond measure to receive prasadam from Ayodhya after our wedding! A truly divine start to our journey together.”
The couple has since shared enchanting pictures from their wedding day, showcasing their stunning looks as they embarked on this new chapter of their life. Rakul looked radiant in a beautiful Tarun Tahiliani lehenga, adorned with hand-embroidered floral patterns, pearls, and crystals. Her bridal ensemble was complemented with polki jewellery, a dewy base, and tinted pink lips, creating an elegant and minimalist bridal look. Meanwhile, Jackky chose an ivory chikankari sherwani, also designed by Tahiliani, paired with a pleated stole.
Their wedding was a joyous occasion attended by family members and close friends, including several Bollywood stars such as Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Esha Deol, who came to bless the couple on their special day.
Rakul and Jackky officially announced their relationship on Instagram in October 2021, and now, after their wedding festivities, they are planning their honeymoon. The couple is set to embark on their romantic getaway after the release of the highly anticipated action thriller film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, which is scheduled to hit theaters on Eid 2024.
In terms of their professional endeavors, Rakul will soon be seen in ‘Indian 2’, alongside Kamal Haasan, Bobby Simhaa, and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The film serves as a sequel to the 1996 release, following Kamal Haasan’s character, an aged freedom fighter taking a stand against corruption.
On the other hand, Jackky is gearing up for the release of his upcoming production, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. This star-studded film features Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Sonakshi Sinha, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles and is eagerly awaited by audiences, slated for release on Eid 2024.
