Rana Daggubati is a popular name in the Telugu film industry. The ‘Baahubali’ actor has impressed fans with his sincere performances, striking screen presence, and intriguing selection of roles. ‘Vettaiyan’, directed by TJ Gnanavel, is touted to be a cop drama with a strong message. Recently a photo of Superstar in Khakee went viral on social media. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, best known for his work on movies like ‘3’ and ‘Jailer’.

The multistarrer also features Amitabh Bachchan, Ritika Singh, and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles. The Tamil biggie is produced by Lyca Productions, the banner behind blockbusters such as ‘2.0’ and the ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ franchise

Coming back to Rana, he is going through a challenging phase on the work front. The actor suffered a setback when ‘Aranya’ failed to live up to expectations. He then bounced back with ‘Bheemla Nayak’, co-starring Pawan Kalyan. Rana, however, received a shock again when ‘Virata Parvam’ underperformed at the box office. He will be hoping to score a much-needed hit with ‘Vettaiyan’.

Rajinikanth, on the other hand, delivered a blockbuster with ‘Jailer’. The action-comedy featured him in the role of a retired cop who reconnects with his violent past after his son disappears under mysterious circumstances. The film was directed by Nelson, best known for ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ and ‘Doctor’. ‘Jailer’ had an impressive cast that included Shivarajkumar, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Sunil, and Tamannaah. ‘Thalaivar’ will be hop[ing to score another big hit with Vettaiyan. He also has a film with Lokesh Kanagaraj in his kitty.
