Actor Ranveer Singh consistently expresses admiration for his wife, actor Deepika Padukone, both online and offline.
Photographer Greg Williams shared a photo of Deepika on Instagram from the BAFTA 2024 awards ceremony. Reacting to the post, Ranveer, known for his role in ‘Don 3,’ commented, “Such a beautiful shot of Deepika! Love it! ugh.. her smile.”
At the ceremony, Deepika presented the award for Best Film not in the English language to actor Jonathan Glazer for ‘The Zone Of Interest.’ The event took place at London’s Royal Festival Hall on February 18.
Deepika dazzled on the red carpet in a golden and silver-hued shimmery saree adorned with sequins, complemented by a matching blouse featuring strappy sleeves.
Other presenters at the ceremony included former England football star David Beckham, singer Dua Lipa, and actors Cate Blanchett, Adjoa Andoh, Hugh Grant, and Lily Collins.
On the cinematic front, Deepika recently starred in the aerial action thriller film ‘Fighter’ opposite Hrithik Roshan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film garnered positive responses from audiences.
She is set to appear next in the sci-fi action thriller film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ alongside southern actor Prabhas. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also features Amitabh Bachchan and is slated for release on May 9, 2024.
Meanwhile, Ranveer is gearing up to reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama ‘Singham Again,’ which also stars Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Additionally, he will lead in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3,’ scheduled for release in 2025.
