Saif Ali Khan Adorably Comes To Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Rescue After She Is Asked If She Can Play Cricket

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, co-owners of Tigers Of Kolkata in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), participated in a press conference during the opening ceremony held in Mumbai. A video from the press meet went viral, capturing a journalist asking Kareena if she had ever played cricket.

Saif Ali Khan was quick to respond, “Of course, she’s a Pataudi.” To this Kareena, smiled, and stated, “Khelne mein aur dekhne ka maza alag-alag hota hai. Main audience hoon to Saif can be the player (The fun in playing and being a spectator is different. So, I am the audience and Saif can be the player).”

Both Saif and Kareena were seen wearing matching jerseys at the event. The star-studded opening ceremony also saw Akshay Kumar, Suriya, Ram Charan, Sachin Tendulkar, and Boman Irani dancing to the Oscar-winning song “Naatu Naatu.” Another video clip showed Kareena engaging in conversation with Ram Charan.

The Indian Street Premier League is India’s inaugural tennis ball T10 cricket tournament, scheduled from March 6 to March 15 in Mumbai. The opening match was between Srinagar Ke Veer and Majhi Mumbai.

Teams in ISPL are owned by Bollywood and regional cinema superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Suriya, Ram Charan, and Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
