Bollywood producer Sajid Nadiadwala and actor Rajinikanth are collaborating on a new pan-Indian project. Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE) announced the news and shared a photo of the couple posing together on their official X (previously Twitter) account.
‘‘It’s a true honour to collaborate with the legendary Rajinikanth Sir! Anticipation mounts as we prepare to embark on this unforgettable journey together!’’ reads the caption of the post. Other details of the project including the title, director, cast and crew are yet to be revealed.
The movies that Sajid Nadiadwala is most known for producing include Heropanti, Heyy Babyy, Housefull, Anjaana Anjaani, 83, and Satyaprem Ki Katha. In addition to writing screenplays for movies like Heropanti 2, Housefull, and Housefull 2, he also directed the Salman Khan film Kick. He is about to release Housefull 5 and Chandu Champion, directed by Kartik Aaryan.
The last time we saw Rajinikanth was in Lal Salaam, which was helmed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth and featured a lengthy cameo. Next on his schedule is Vettaiyan, starring Jai Bhim-famous director TJ Gnanavel. Following its conclusion, the actor will collaborate with director Lokesh Kanagaraj on an action film that will likely be titled Thalaivar 171.
