Sobhita Dhulipala’s Father Was ‘Pissed’ Of Actress’ Wedding With Naga Chaitanya, Reveals Sister, Here’s Why

In a close traditional wedding, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya’s tied the knot on December 4 in Hyderabad.

Sobhita’s sister Samanta took to Instagram to share a candid moment from the ceremony, where their father appeared less than thrilled during one of the rituals.

In a photo originally posted by Sobhita’s makeup artist, Sobhita is seen smiling as she performs a wedding ritual, while her sister and father sit beside her. The makeup artist captioned the image, “My happy bride with her bridesmaid.” Resharing it on her Instagram story, Samanta humorously noted, “My dad was pissed,” along with a laughing emoji.

The playful remark left fans amused. While the exact reason remains a mystery, the light-hearted exchange provided a relatable glimpse into the dynamics of a close-knit family during a big event.

The wedding itself was a star-studded affair, attended by prominent Tollywood figures such as Chiranjeevi, SS Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu, and Rana Daggubati. The newlyweds also participated in traditional post-wedding rituals, including a playful game of finding a ring from a pot, where Naga Chaitanya emerged victorious.

Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya made their first public appearance as a married couple at the Srisailam Temple, accompanied by Naga Chaitanya’s father, veteran actor Nagarjuna. The family sought blessings for the couple’s new journey ahead.
