Sunny Deol Attends ‘Laapataa Ladies’ Screening With Flair

According to Bayan, the movie Lapata directed by Kiran Rao was selected as the opening film of the second IFFM Summer Film Festival. The Australian premiere is scheduled for the festival on February 29, with an announcement to follow on March 1, 2024.

Ahead of its release, the makers of “La Pata” held a special screening on Tuesday night. Actor Sunny Deol was also joined by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao at the event. Sunny Deol looked dapper in a gray shirt paired with a black shirt. Kiran Rao, who hosted the screening, looked gorgeous with her bronzed skin as she starred opposite Aamir Khan in the film. Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan attended the screening along with his wife Nupur Shikhare. Many Bollywood celebrities including Karan Johar, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amol Parashar, Ali Fazal, Radhika Apte, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sayani Gupta attended the event.

Aamir Khan and Sunny Deol will collaborate in a new project titled ‘Lahore 1947’, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions. This is the first collaboration between Sunny Deol, Santoshi and Aamir Khan. “Lahore 1947” is the 17th film of Aamir Khan Productions.

The makers recently announced the new release of “Beda Paar” from the film. T-Series shared the song’s video on Instagram and captioned it, “Saiyaanji ke Saath #BedaPaar toh lagna hi tha. Let’s play this song. Sung by Sona Mohapatra, with lyrics written by Prashant Pandey and music composed by Ram Sampath, the song captures the rural setting of the film, which revolves around wedding farewells, and exudes a retro vibe.

Set in India in 2001, Mrs. Lapata tells the story of two young brides who get separated during a train journey. The story unfolds when Police Constable Kishan takes it upon himself to investigate the disappearance. The film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, and the script is written by Biplab Goswami.
