Mumbai, December 26: Celebrating the spirit of Christmas, the creators of the much-anticipated film ‘Merry Christmas,’ starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi, have released the movie’s title track. Sung by Ash King and composed by Pritam, the song was introduced through Tips’ social media on Instagram with the caption, “The perfect #MerryChristmas song is here In Cinemas 12th Jan.”
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, known for his acclaimed works like ‘Badlapur’ and ‘Andhadhun,’ ‘Merry Christmas promises a unique take on romance. The recently unveiled trailer left audiences intrigued, showcasing Raghavan’s signature blend of suspense, seduction, and surprise.
The chemistry between Vijay and Katrina in the film is described as refreshing and likely to captivate the audience. ‘Merry Christmas’ is shot in two languages, and features different supporting actors. The Hindi version includes Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams in equivalent roles.
