Actress Natasa Stankovic, who is married to cricket Hardik Pandya, has landed in a controversy for an unexpected Mumbai Indians, led by her husband, are yet to secure a win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
The side recently suffered its second defeat under the new captain in their match against Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH). To make matters worse, Hardik underperformed with the bat and his calls came under the radar. Following this trolls unfairly attacked his Natasa Stankovic and blamed her for his lacklustre form. These events have brought the Serbian actress into the limelight.
Natasa, who was born to Goran Stanković and Radmila Stanković in Požarevac, began her career with advertisements for leading brands. She then appeared in films such as ‘Dishkiyaoon’, ‘Action Jackson’, ‘Fukrey Returns’, and ‘The Body’. She also participated in ‘Bigg Boss 8’ and ‘Nach Baliye 9’. Additionally, the actress was seen in Gippy Grewal’s ‘Nai Shad Da’. She is, however, best known for the hit music video ‘DJ Waaley Babu’.
Natasa and Hardik got engaged on January 1, 2020. They welcomed their first child, a few months later, in July. The two renewed their wedding vows in 2023 in a dreamy ceremony in Udaipur. They have never shied away from praising each other in public. Their lovey-dovey posts have often gone viral on social media.
Some time ago, Hardik told Harsha Bhogle that he impressed Natasa by talking to her.
“I got her by talking. She saw someone in a hat at a place where I met her, wearing a hat, a chain, a watch, at 1 am. So she thought he is ‘alag prakaar ka aadmi aaya’ (different kind of person came),” he had said.
Coming back to the present, Hardik is set to lead MI in their match against Rajasthan Royals, slated to take place on April 1. He will be hoping to help his team secure a much-needed win against their fierce rivals.
