When Did Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher First Met?
Baron Cohen and Fisher first connected at a party in Sydney in 2001, before either achieved major fame in Hollywood. Fisher has said that they bonded over making fun of pretentious partygoers. “She was hilarious. I don’t know if she did.” The two became engaged in 2004 and welcomed their first child three years later.
While Fisher has been hesitant to publicly discuss details of their private life, she once shared that keeping their relationship out of the public eye had been valuable to her. She said that finding humour in life’s difficulties had always connected them.
