Who Was Cole Brings Plenty? ‘Yellowstone’ Spin-Off Actor Found Dead In Kansas Days After Going Missing

Law enforcement has confirmed that actor Cole Brings Plenty, reported missing from Lawrence, has been discovered dead. According to a press release from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call at 11:45 a.m. on April 5 in the vicinity of 200th and Homestead Lane, where they encountered an unoccupied vehicle.

During their investigation of the surrounding area, deputies discovered the body of a deceased man in a wooded area. The individual was later identified as 27-year-old Cole Brings Plenty. Investigators, including law enforcement from the Lawrence Police Department, remain at the scene.

Brings Plenty was initially reported missing following an alleged domestic violence incident in Lawrence on April 2.

Mo Brings Plenty posted a missing persons poster on Instagram earlier this week, stating that his nephew had been missing since Sunday, March 31. According to Nexstar’s KSNT, officers responded to an apartment in Lawrence, Kansas, on that day following reports of a woman screaming for help. During their investigation, police identified Cole Brings Plenty as the suspect, leading to an alert being issued to area agencies. Allegedly, traffic cameras captured the actor leaving the city after the incident.

This tragic development comes shortly after Mo Brings Plenty utilized social media to raise awareness about his missing nephew. Cole was last seen driving a 2005 white Ford Explorer. The missing person’s poster, shared by Mo, indicates that Cole disappeared from Lawrence, Kansas, on March 31. Concerns were raised after he failed to attend an appointment with his agent for a role on a TV show, which was deemed uncharacteristic of him.

According to The Lawrence Times, Cole was a student at Haskell Indian Nations University. He portrayed the role of Pete Plenty Clouds in two episodes of the Yellowstone spinoff 1923 and had also pursued modelling work. He was known for his roles in shows such as “Into the Wild Frontier,” “The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger,” and the “Yellowstone” spin-off series “1923,” as indicated on his IMDB page. Cole was 27 years old at the time of his death.
