Yodha Box Office Day 1: Sidharth Malhotra Starrer Gets To A Slow Start With Mere ₹4.25 Crore Opening

On its opening day, initial estimates indicate that the film “Yodha,” starring Sidharth Malhotra, grossed around ₹4.25 crore in net revenue across India. According to data provided by Sacnilk, the movie achieved an overall occupancy rate of 13.86% in Hindi theatres on Friday, March 15, 2024.

Sidharth Malhotra recently visited the national capital to promote a film directed by debutants Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. This action-packed thriller follows the journey of Arun Katyal, the leader of the Yodha Task Force, as he embarks on a rescue mission.

During a promotional event, Sidharth expressed his enthusiasm for the film and spoke positively about its prospects. Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the actor praised the project.

Speaking about the movie, Sidharth stated, “Yodha presents a completely fictional narrative. We have introduced a new task force – Yodha. When you create something entirely new, you have the freedom to take creative liberties. We’ve incorporated several variations in the film, particularly in the action sequences. Unlike ‘Shershaah,’ here I exhibit a higher level of energy, employ different weapons, and engage in diverse action sequences. It’s a much more commercially oriented and entertaining film. I believe it features some of the best action sequences I’ve performed in the past decade or so.”
