‘Yodha’ Day Box Office Collection Day 4: Sidharth Malhotra Film Has a Sharp Drop on First Monday

‘Yodha’, which opened in theatres on March 15, had a decent first weekend and collected nearly Rs 17 crore in the first three days. It benefited from the Buy One Get One (BOGO) offer as well as Sidharth Malhotra’s stardom.

However, the film failed to keep the momentum going on its first Monday (March 18) and witnessed a massive crash. It netted merely Rs 2.25 crore yesterday. The film’s total collection stands at Rs 19.76 crore.

Day 1: Rs 4.25 crore

Day 2: Rs 6.01 crore

Day 3: Rs 7.25 crore

Day 4: Rs 2.25 crore

These figures indicate that the mixed word-of-mouth has affected the film. ‘Yodha’ needs to remain stable in the coming days and then grow over the second weekend in order to have a chance to emerge as a success in the long run. 

‘Yodha’, directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, is an action-thriller with political undertones. It centres on A commando (Sidharth) who lands in a soup after disobeying direct orders from his seniors but eventually gets an opportunity to redeem himself. ‘Yodha’ stars Raashii Khanna as the leading lady and marks her first collaboration with Sid. The cast includes.Disha Patani, Ronit Roy, Sunny Hinduja, and Tanuj Virwani.

The ‘Aspirants’ actor and Disha play negative roles in the film. ‘Yodha’ is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan.

This is Sidharth’s first release of the year. He was last seen in ‘Mission Majnu’. The film, which featured Rashmika Mandanna as the female protagonist, premiered on OTT in 2023.
