The film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, starring Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal, was released on June 2. Those who have seen the movie adore Vicky and Sara’s on-screen chemistry. The music from the film also attracted viewers. The plot of the film is based in the small town of Indore.

Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan play the two college sweethearts Kapil and Saumya, who are hopelessly in love. After getting married, they remain with Kapil’s family, where they struggle to have any privacy or even time for romance without being constantly interrupted by family members.

To get away from their family, Kapil and Saumya try to get a flat through the Indian government’s flagship program, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). However, they must divorce to be qualified for that. What happens next is a comedy of blunders.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke made approximately Rs 5.49 crore on Day 1 and received mixed reviews from the audience. Early estimates indicate that on Day 7, it brought in roughly Rs 3.25 crore. Hence, its total domestic box office revenue is currently estimated to be Rs. 37.36 crore. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is the second highest-grossing film for Vicky as the lead, after Uri: The Surgical Strike.
