Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to make a transformative two-day visit to Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency, beginning Sunday evening. The trip will see the inauguration of several key development projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure, connectivity, and cultural diversity.

The Prime Minister commenced the day by inaugurating the new integrated terminal building at Surat airport, emphasizing the government’s commitment to bolstering regional connectivity. Later today, Prime Minister Modi is expected to arrive in Varanasi to partake in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, an initiative aimed at comprehensive national development. Anticipating the event, Modi shared on social media, “Tomorrow evening onwards, I will be among my sisters and brothers of Kashi. I will take part in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.”

The highlight of the evening will be the inauguration of the second phase of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2023 at the Namo Ghat.
