Intermittent fasting, unlike most diets, doesn’t prescribe what you should eat. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian, you can lose weight with intermittent fasting. This flexibility has made intermittent fasting very popular in the last five years. Additionally, it helps improve energy levels and reduce hunger, making it a sustainable lifestyle choice rather than a temporary diet.
There are many types of intermittent fasting. As a fat loss expert with ten years of experience, I recommend the 2 Meal Day for most people. This method is simple: you eat only two meals a day. You can either skip breakfast and have lunch and dinner, or skip dinner and have breakfast and lunch. This way, you fast for about 14-18 hours each day.
Unlike the 16:8 method, which focuses on eating within a specific time window, the 2 Meal Day helps you tune into your body’s natural hunger cues. This promotes true intuitive eating, leading to long-term fat loss success. Many of my coaching clients aim for this long-term goal.hh
