WARNING! Indian Doctor Shares Scary Image Of ‘Only Weekend Drink’ Liver Vs His Healthy Wife’s Liver

In a social media handle X, Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips who is known as “The Liver Doctor,” shared a horrifying image of the variation between two livers: one without alcohol consumption  that is his wife’s and the other with alcohol consumption, that is his own.

In the post, Dr quotes, “Hello. Just wanted to show the inside of the liver of a 32-year-old, ‘weekends only’ alcohol-drinking man, and the healthy donor liver of his wife, that he received, that will help him survive to see their little daughter grow up. ”

Social Media Reacts

The post quickly went viral, with many expressing shock and introspection. One user commented, “Looking at the organ, seems he was lying with her family & doctors; he seems completely alcoholic for the entire week.” Dr. Philips responded, “You won’t understand. Keep feeding your confirmation biases. Sometimes experience is a great teacher.”

“Alcohol is a poison. Period. Your liver works overtime to process it, and when you binge-even on weekends-you overwhelm it. Over time that’s where you get a fatty liver, fibrosis, cirrhosis and ultimately to failure of the liver; before there are any apparent signs and symptoms, there’s just nothing to tell,” says another person

Some called for more drastic measures. “This photo should be on top of every alcohol bottle,” suggested one user, while another admitted, “I’m a bi-monthly drinker, and I’m too scared now.”

Alcohol Fact :

The liver processes most of the alcohol consumed, converting it into substances that are even more harmful than alcohol itself. Excessive amounts of these toxic byproducts can damage liver cells and lead to severe liver disease. Alcohol is responsible for 4 out of 5 liver disease-related deaths.
