2 Parliamentary Soldiers Killed After Truck Blown Up

In the latest update, Two paramilitary personnel were killed in action when the truck they were in was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED) constructed by Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma.

The troops were members of the Central Reserve Police Force’s (CRPF) elite anti-Maoist unit, CoBRA, according to the police.

The IED attack occurred when they were on a road-opening patrol (ROP) in a truck and motorcycle, according to police.

The Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) has been patrolling from Silger camp near Jagargunda police station to Tekalgudem.

According to the police, additional personnel have arrived in the region and are searching for the Maoists.

According to analysts, IEDs pose a significant threat to soldiers engaging in anti-Maoist operations in Chhattisgarh. These homemade explosives are frequently disguised by wayside vegetation in Chhattisgarh’s dense jungles, making timely identification difficult for patrols, they claimed.
