50 case files missing from Muzaffarnagar SSP office, FIR filed against inspector

On Tuesday, a FIR was filed against Inspector Rajkumar Sharma in connection with the disappearance of 50 files from the Muzaffarnagar SSP office. According to police officials, the case was registered on the orders of Muzaffarnagar Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Suman. Kavita Yadav, who is currently in charge of the Muzaffarnagar SSP office’s crime title board, has filed a Section 409 case against Inspector Babu Raj Kumar Sharma in Police Station Civil Line. The crime heading board was overseen by Babu Rajkumar Sharma.

Because Inspector Rajkumar Sharma is on leave, the charge was transferred to Kavita Yadav on February 1, 2023. On February 16, ADG Zone Meerut Rajeev Sabharwal conducted the annual inspection of the police station. During the inspection, the ADG requested some files, but Inspector Kavita Yadav claims that Rajkumar Sharma has yet to deliver them to her.

As a result, the SSP requested that SP Traffic Kuldeep Singh conduct an investigation, which revealed that 50 letters were missing. The SSP had issued orders for the case to be registered. Ayush Vikram Singh, Muzaffarnagar Circle Officer, confirmed the incident and stated that a case had been filed against Babu Raj Kumar Sharma at Police Station Civil Line.
