A stone pelting incident was reported on the new Dehradun-Delhi Vande Bharat train on Sunday, officials said. Railway officials said that a stone was thrown at the E1 coach of the train near the Muzaffarnagar station on the Delhi-Dehradun route.
Railway Authorities have said that nobody was hurt in the incident. The Delhi Division has set up Railway Protection Force (RPF) to arrest criminals.

Earlier, on April 6, Vande Bharat Express from Visakhapatnam reported a new stone rain incident, alerting the authorities. In January, Vande Bharat Express in Visakhapatnam was thrown at the train again during repairs. The windshield of a passenger car was damaged near Kancharapalem in Visakhapatnam.
The train arrived in Visakhapatnam for maintenance and operation, some unidentified persons threw stones on the train,” said Anup Kumar Sethupati, Director of the Department of Railways(DRM).
Previously, in a statement by Eastern Railway on 12 March, it was reported that the Vande Bharat Express train was attacked with stones and the windows of the high-speed train were damaged. The reported incident occurred near Farrakka in Murshidabad, West Bengal.
