8 Individuals Arrested After 404 kg Ganja Seizure

Police reported the arrest of eight individuals in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana, for allegedly transporting 404 kilograms of dry Ganja from Odisha to Hyderabad. All suspects hail from Haryana.

Superintendent of Police Rohith Raju stated that authorities confiscated the dry Ganja, concealed in plastic trays and under doormats within a private vehicle en route from Odisha to Hyderabad.

The apprehension occurred during a routine vehicle check. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the accused initially posed as sellers but later engaged in Ganja transportation with the assistance of two other individuals to maximize profits.

Legal action has been taken against all eight suspects, who have been remanded into custody pending further inquiry.

Authorities affirmed ongoing investigations into the matter.
