Om Raut, the director of the upcoming film ‘Adipurush,’ recently met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Raut shared a photo from his meeting with Yogi Adityanath on Instagram. As a token of appreciation, he is seen in the image presenting the CM with a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Raj Mata Jijau.
Raut met Sri Sri Ravi Shankar before his meeting with the CM. ‘Adipurush,’ on the other hand, is a mythological drama based on the epic Ramayana. Prabhas plays Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon plays Sita, and Sunny Singh plays Lakshman in the film. Saif Ali Khan will play the role of Ravan in the film.
The teaser for ‘Adipurush’ was released on October 2, 2022, on the bank of Sarayu in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, among fans and media. The film has a massive budget of Rs 500 crore and is expected to be nothing short of a visual spectacle. However, netizens were dissatisfied with the teaser, which was trolled on the internet for its VFX.
The movie will be released in theatres on June 16.
