In Uttar Pradesh’s Noida, a similar hit-and-run event where a Swiggy delivery employee died after being dragged by a car has come to light amid intense concern over the horrifying Sultanpuri automobile disaster.
On the eve of the new year, Kaushal Yadav, a delivery partner for the online food delivery service Swiggy, was murdered when a vehicle struck his two-wheeler next to a flyover in Noida Sector 14. The four-wheeler pulled him roughly 500 metres.
The unfortunate occurrence happened when the 24-year-old Etawa resident was leaving for a delivery.
A bystander answered Kaushal’s brother Amit’s phone at one in the morning on Sunday and told him about the vicissitude.
Amit complained about the situation, and a case has been opened on the subject. According to authorities, the area’s CCTV systems are being searched for the perpetrator.
The event was discovered as nationwide outrage over the murder of the 20-year-old lady in Sultanpuri, outside of Delhi, erupted.
Anjali Singh was killed early on January 1 after a car struck her bike and carried it over 14 kilometres (about 8 miles) from Sultanpuri on the outskirts of Delhi to Kanjhawala.
On Monday, three days of police custody were ordered for the five males who were in the Maruti Suzuki Baleno: Deepak Khanna (age 26), Amit Khanna (age 25), Krishan (age 27), Mithun (age 26), and Manoj Mittal.
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, has asked the Delhi Police for a thorough investigation on the event.
