Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Hyderabad on March 15 and 16, the city’s police department has issued a traffic advisory for various parts of the city. The Commissioner of Traffic Police released a list of places and routes where traffic will either be halted or diverted during the Prime Minister’s visit.
According to an official statement, PM Modi is expected to arrive at Begumpet Airport on March 15 (Friday), followed by a roadshow at Malkajgiri, before returning to Raj Bhavan. Traffic interruptions are anticipated at several locations on Friday from 4:40 PM to 7:00 PM, including Begumpet, PNT Junction, Rasoolpura, CTO, Plaza, St Johns Rotary, Sangeeth X Roads, Alugadda Bavi, Mettuguda, Railway Hospital, Mettuguda Rotary, Mirjalguda T Junction, Malkajgiri Arch, Lalapet, Tarnaka, Green Lands, Monappa Junction, and Rajbhavan MMTS Jn.
The traffic police have urged the public to take note of the above information and plan their movements accordingly.
