The possibility of absconding pro-Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh entering Uttarakhand has been raised, according to Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) V Murugesan on Saturday morning.
Murugesan went on to say that he had received information from the Punjab Police that the Khalistan supporter who fled Punjab might enter Uttarakhand through Haryana. He told ANI that checks and monitoring are being conducted, and that an alert has been placed in all possible locations.
