Earlier on Sunday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh participated in Holi celebrations with soldiers in Leh. Accompanied by Chief of the Army Staff, General Manoj Pande, and General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps, Lt Gen Rashim Bali, he shared the festive spirit with the troops.

During the celebrations, Rajnath Singh also had a conversation with the commanding officer stationed at Siachen, promising to visit them at the earliest opportunity.
