Amit Shah Expected to Visit Telangana on March 12: Set to Address BJP’s Booth-Level Leaders

On March 12, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is anticipated to visit Telangana, where he will convene a meeting with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) booth committee president and party office bearers. The purpose of this gathering is to offer guidance to the party’s leaders and workers in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Taking place at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad, the meeting, chaired by the Union Home Minister, is expected to focus on briefing leaders about strategies for the parliamentary elections.

Amit Shah is likely to emphasize the importance of mobilizing voters at every booth and may also provide insights into the developmental and welfare schemes implemented by the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership over the past decade. Additionally, he is expected to appeal to the public to support PM Modi for another term in office.

The BJP is actively strategizing to secure more seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana, with a particular focus on the state. Recent Victory Mission tours covering 17 parliamentary constituencies have demonstrated the party’s commitment to this goal. Nine out of the 17 parliamentary constituencies in Telangana already have announced BJP candidates.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the states has further energized BJP workers, providing a boost to their morale. The BJP released its first list of 195 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls on March 2, with PM Modi set to contest from Varanasi again. Among the candidates, 34 are ministers from the Center and States, including two former chief ministers.

In the 2019 elections, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured a total of 303 seats, outpacing the rival party by a significant margin. The Lok Sabha polls are anticipated to take place in April-May this year.
