Bank Shut On Holi? Here’s All You need To Know

All banks, both public and private, will remain closed on March 25 (Monday) in observance of the Holi festival. This closure extends the weekend break for banks, which began on March 23 for the fourth Saturday and continued on March 24 for Sunday.

It’s important to note that while most states celebrate Holi on March 25, holiday dates may vary based on local customs and state regulations.

In March 2024, public banks have a total of 14 designated non-working days, which include public holidays, state-specific holidays, mandated second and fourth Saturdays, and all Sundays, as outlined by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and respective state authorities.

National Holidays
