Ahead of 15th August, a big terrorist threat flagged over the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has raised alarm bells over strengthening the security arrangements. A high-level senior meeting with the top officials of the security agencies was held to review the arrangements to ensure the safety and security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the review, the country’s agencies were warned and alerted.
As per the top sources, India’s security agencies shared an important information with the intelligence department, security units and other departments. This information was related to PM Modi’s security.
Additionally, there is a reported threat of a major terrorist attack involving drones on 15th August. Senior officials from the NSG, SPG, IB, Indian Army, Air Force, and Delhi Police attended the crucial meeting to discuss and enhance security measures for PM Modi and other VVIPs.

What is The Special Alert?
In this crucial meeting concerning the Prime Minister’s security, a special alert was issued about call spoofing. It was noted that Pakistan and the nation’s adversaries might use this tactic to gain confidential information of India, including VIP movements, their personal information and their tour routes via call spoofing.
The country’s VVIPs also face a potential threat to be harmed through poison. As a result, country’s agencies have been asked to keep a strict check on the protocols of VVIPs visits.
Threat pattern likely to be similar to Trump’s assassination bid
Top security officials are asked to be on a high alert to keep a strict vigil in order to avoid any potential threat over the security of the VVIPs of the country, likely to be in a manner similar to that of the assassination bid against the former United States former President Donald Trump.
‘PM Modi’s Kargil Visit’ was on a hit list
Earlier on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has just made a visit to Kargil. During his Kargil’s visit, country’s security forces have intercepted some of the phone calls.
These phone calls were being made via sphing. Attempts were being made to collect information regarding PM’s Kargil tour routes and security from across the border.
But according to sources, Indian intelligence agencies had thwarted the conspiracy hatched by Pakistan successfully.
