Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Remarks on Sanatan Dharma: BJP Chief Nadda Raises Concerns Over anti-Hindu Strategies for 2024 Polls

He criticized what he referred to as 'Mohabbat ki Dukan,' implying that it spreads hatred.

Expressing strong disapproval of DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin’s comments on ‘Sanatan Dharma,’ BJP President JP Nadda indirectly criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and questioned the stance of the INDIA alliance on this matter. Nadda, addressing a public rally in Chitrakoot, raised concerns about the possible inclusion of anti-Hindu strategies in the upcoming elections.

JP Nadda stated, “Stalin’s son, Udhayanidhi Stalin says that ‘Sanatan Dharma’ should be abolished. He says that like dengue and malaria, ‘Sanatan Dharma’ should be abolished. They have no hesitation while making such statements. Is Udhayanidhi’s statement a part of the INDIA alliance’s political strategy?”

BJP President Nadda further inquired whether the alliance intends to incorporate anti-Hindu strategies in the forthcoming elections. He criticized what he referred to as ‘Mohabbat ki Dukan,’ implying that it spreads hatred. Nadda highlighted the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) efforts to develop India and contrasted this with the opposition’s alleged disregard for the country’s culture.

Meanwhile, a Supreme Court lawyer has lodged a formal complaint with the Delhi Police against Udhayanidhi Stalin, the Sports Minister of the Tamil Nadu Government and the son of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, following the controversial statement made by Stalin on Saturday regarding ‘Santana Dharma.’ In the complaint filed by Vineet Jindal, a practicing lawyer, it is alleged that Udhayanidhi Maran, during a speech, made provocative, inflammatory, derogatory, and inciting remarks against Sanatan Dharam.
