Chirag Paswan received an invitation to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting from BJP national president JP Nadda via letter on Saturday, according to a tweet from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will serve as the meeting’s chair in the nation’s capital. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) summit is being planned to commemorate the end of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nine-year central administration.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the meeting in the capital. In order to commemorate the national government’s nine years in office under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is holding a conference.
Significantly, the LJP (Ram Vilas) and the BJP are allies at the federal level. It also holds a seat in the Lower House of Parliament, the Lok Sabha.
The LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan responded to the BJP’s invitation to the NDA conference by saying a final decision on attending the meeting or formally joining the coalition at the Centre before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections would be made after holding discussions with all party leaders and members.
“We will take a final decision (on joining the NDA) after consulting all the party leaders and workers. We have supported BJP on various issues from time to time, but the final decision on whether to go to the NDA meeting or joining the alliance (ahead of the Lok Sabha polls) will be taken after holding discussions with all party leaders,” said Chirag Paswan on Saturday.
On June 1, the BJP began a month-long Jan Sampark Abhiyan (mega outreach campaign) to commemorate the end of nine years of the NDA’s government under PM Modi’s direction.
The BJP hosted a number of events involving a various key leaders and Union ministers during the course of its massive campaign, which came to an end on June 30.
The main goals of these sessions were to showcase numerous welfare and development programmes being implemented nationwide under the leadership of PM Modi’s NDA government.
The Election Commission (EC) assigned the LJP (Ram Vilas) a new symbol following a split in 2021. Under the leadership of Pashupati Kumar Paras, a currently serving Union minister, the opposing LJP section adopted the name Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party.
