On the early morning of Tuesday, the Border Security Force (BSF) recovered yet another Pakistani drone of Chinese make near the International Border in Punjab’s Ferozpur district. The drone was intercepted as it entered Indian territory, carrying a packet of contraband. The seizure took place in Rana Panj Grain village at approximately 7:45 am, following a search operation initiated in response to specific information about the presence of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle.
The Border Security Force (BSF) has identified the recovered drone as a Quadcopter, specifically the DJI Matrice 300 RTK model, which is manufactured in China. The BSF, responsible for safeguarding the 3,323 km India-Pakistan border, provided this information about the drone that was seized near the International Border in Punjab’s Ferozpur district.
“A drone alongwith one packet of contraband suspected to be Heroin (gross weight approximately 2 Kg) was recovered from the farming field adjacent to Rana Panj Grain village,” the BSF said.
