What Happened So Far In RG Kar Murder-Rape Case?
Earlier, following their remand, Mondal and Ghosh were brought before the court, which extended their judicial custody until September 30.
Further, the CBI also highlighted a “two-day delay” in seizing the belongings of the prime accused, Sanjay Roy, which could have provided crucial evidence against him.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Roy was arrested shortly after the incident on August 9, when the body of a trainee doctor was discovered in the seminar hall of RG Kar Medical College, with the autopsy confirming she had been raped and murdered. Currently, he remains the sole suspect in the case.
