Further, the minister also revealed, that the committee will be led by ADG, Border Security Force, Eastern Command.

Meanwhile, the Border Security Force (BSF) has heightened its vigilance along the borders with Bangladesh. Security agencies have alerted the BSF that more than 1,200 prisoners, including terrorists, have escaped from jails in Bangladesh and might attempt to enter India.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has also stated that the government is closely monitoring the situation in Bangladesh concerning the protection of minorities.
Currently in Bangladesh, an interim government led by Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus has been established to govern the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while congratulating Yunus on his appointment as the chief advisor of Bangladesh’s interim government said
